We received orders from USARC for an Army Reserve officer client last week. This one made it through all necessary hoops without too much delay. About 2.5 months since the command and client initiated the action through IPPS-A. The client had a family issue come up last year which made continuing on in uniform difficult, if not impossible. You can read his thoughts on what it was like working with us here.
And we just learned today that another client’s UQR has been approved at HRC, and we anticipate the discharge order being cut by USARC sometime this week. Client is an Army Reserve medical officer, who had a family hardship come up last year as well. This one took a little longer than usual, but in the end, both USARC and HRC got things squared away, and everyone this past week was reading off the same sheet of music. Anticipate the client will have some thoughts on his experience with the process later this month, and I’ll get them up when he does.
As always, if you or someone you know, needs or wants help with an Unqualified Resignation (UQR), give us a call or drop a note, and we’ll get back to you promptly. Thanks.
